Organic Search Growth Proposal

Michigan Metal Coatings

A search system for turning technical coating expertise into qualified RFQs from automotive and industrial buyers.

Prepared July 27, 2026 · Proposal valid for 30 days · All fees in USD

Michigan Metal Coatings already has the capabilities buyers need. The opportunity is to make those capabilities easier to discover, understand, and specify when engineers and procurement teams search for a coating partner.

Recommendation

Prioritize the United States and Canada first, using high-intent service, process, specification, and RFQ pages to convert existing demand. Build multilingual North American procurement pathways for Mexico, Germany, and Japan only after capability claims and ownership are approved. Run the program month to month at $4,500 per month, with an optional $1,000 monthly CTR Boost for selected priority terms.

1. The Short Version

10,470Mapped searches / month
4,280US + Canada demand
58Active opportunities
6–12Planning customers / year

The research found useful demand across five markets, but the commercial plan should not chase every search at once. The fastest route to revenue is a focused US and Canada program around zinc flake, GEOMET, Dörken, fastener coating, rack and bulk processing, corrosion testing, specification support, and quote qualification.

Why $4,500 per month is appropriate: the annual core fee is $54,000. One customer at the supplied $50,000–$75,000 annual value is roughly equal to 0.9–1.4 times the annual fee in gross revenue, while the mature planning case is 6–12 additional customers per year. This is a revenue comparison, not a profit or ROI guarantee.

2. Current Search Position

Michigan Metal Coatings has a narrow foothold rather than broad market coverage. A July 2026 third-party snapshot estimated a Domain Rating of 12, 11 ranking keywords, and approximately 36 monthly organic visits. Live US search checks found valuable early traction for two commercial terms, but little meaningful visibility in the other researched countries.

#4 for “geomet coating”

A strong existing page that can be expanded around specifications, application fit, testing, and RFQ requirements.

#5 for “metal coating company”

Evidence that Google already associates the domain with commercial coating intent.

International gap

Mexico, Germany, and Japan show demand, but MMC has little current visibility and must avoid implying local capabilities that have not been verified.

MarketMapped monthly demandRole in the plan
United States3,930Primary commercial market: service, process, specification, testing, industry, and RFQ pages.
Canada350Near-term extension of the US content system for North American buyers.
Japan3,940North American procurement pathway; avoid duplicating domestic MC Systems content.
Germany1,290Target German OEM and Tier programs needing North American processing, not local German coating.
Mexico960Validate entity and plant capabilities before publishing service claims.

Demand is the sum of 58 active, intent-mapped keyword opportunities using country- and language-specific estimates. It is directional market sizing, not unique searchers or guaranteed traffic. Similar terms can overlap.

3. Where Search Demand Meets Capability

Search themeBuyer questionRecommended asset
Bulk dip-spin vs. rack DDSWhich process fits the part geometry, damage risk, throughput, drainage, and cost?Process decision pages with part-fit and RFQ criteria.
GEOMET and Dörken systemsCan this supplier meet the required coating system, friction range, and automotive specification?Expanded system pages plus a specification-led comparison guide.
Large and complex fastenersCan the rack line handle long bolts, U-bolts, M6–M36 parts, or damage-sensitive geometry?DDS rack application pages built around engineering constraints.
PFAS-free transitionWhich product-level options and documentation are available for the required system?Carefully reviewed compliance page with dated, facility-specific evidence.
Corrosion testingCan the supplier support the applicable test method and documented acceptance criteria?Testing hub tied directly to coating selection and RFQ qualification.
Industry expansionCan automotive-grade process discipline support railway, solar, aerospace, and farm-equipment programs?Industry pages that use approved proof instead of generic vertical claims.
Positioning boundary: the campaign will promote verified zinc-flake coating capabilities. It will not claim electroplating or Magni services. Licensing, accreditation, PFAS status, OEM approvals, facility capabilities, throughput, and turnaround claims will be published only after current documentation is approved.

4. A Realistic Customer Model

The total keyword universe is not a forecast. The planning model discounts it for ranking distribution, mixed informational intent, market fit, qualification, and a long industrial sales cycle.

700–1,500Organic visits / monthMature range across the page portfolio
About 1% begin a serious inquiry
7–15Inquiry starts / monthCalls, forms, specification and quote requests
Fit, capability and project filtering
5–10Qualified RFQs / monthPlanning range after qualification
10% supplied close-rate assumption
6–12Customers / yearOnce mature; not an early-month target
ScenarioNew customers / yearInitial-order revenueAnnual customer value
Conservative mature case6$60,000–$150,000$300,000–$450,000
Upper planning case12$120,000–$300,000$600,000–$900,000

Formula: customers × supplied $10,000–$25,000 initial order, or customers × supplied $50,000–$75,000 annual value. The model assumes a 10% close rate and a 2–6 month sales cycle. It excludes margin, capacity, customer overlap, repeat-order timing, attribution overlap, and implementation delays. Values are planning scenarios, not forecasts or guarantees.

5. The Growth System

1. Technical and measurement foundation

Resolve crawl, indexation, page targeting, internal linking, schema, conversion tracking, and RFQ attribution so rankings connect to pipeline outcomes.

2. Commercial page program

Refresh or build priority service, process, specification, testing, application, industry, and location pages around how technical buyers qualify suppliers.

3. Authority and distribution

Earn relevant mentions and links, support sales with useful engineering resources, and strengthen the pages responsible for qualified demand.

7. Investment

Choose the Growth System

Clear monthly scope with the optional accelerator separated from the SEO foundation.

Month to month · No long-term contract
Line itemInvestmentWhat it covers
Organic Search Growth Program$4,500/monthStrategy, technical SEO, commercial page production, supporting technical content, internal linking, conversion improvements, authority coordination, reporting, and monthly strategy review.
CTR BoostOptional $1,000/monthBi-weekly CTR acceleration and snippet testing across up to five selected priority keywords. Added only when target pages, tracking, and ranking position make the test useful.
Core / With CTR Boost$4,500 / $5,500The core program builds durable search visibility. CTR Boost is a supplemental accelerator, not a replacement for page quality, authority, or technical work.
Pricing recommendation: keep the core at $4,500 rather than discounting it. The scope spans technical SEO, commercial content, conversion, authority, and multilingual planning in a specialized B2B market. Keep CTR Boost optional until baseline tracking and target pages are ready, then apply it only to a small, measured keyword set. Individual rankings and timelines vary; no ranking or revenue outcome is guaranteed.

8. Next Step

Approve the $4,500 monthly Organic Search Growth Program and schedule a 45-minute kickoff. During kickoff, we will confirm commercial priorities, facility and product claims, RFQ qualification fields, website access, analytics ownership, the first two page targets, and the definition of a qualified opportunity. CTR Boost can be added later without changing the core program.
